Drawing upon more than 10 years of professional excellence, Ryan E. Livergood is well-regarded for his tenure in the United States Air Force and subsequent vocational endeavors in the automotive and diesel industry. Formerly serving as a contract specialist/officer in the Air Force, he spent one decade on active duty as a commissioned officer, through which he supported federal and Department of Defense acquisitions cradle to grave. Serving in the armed forces between 2011 and 2021, he was also deployed overseas to Afghanistan and Qatar, where he supported CENTCOM and SOCOM needs.
Previously, Mr. Livergood was a member of the Civil Air Patrol, where he received certification as a Carl A. Spaatz award as a Cadet and, later, the Gill Robb Wilson Award as an adult member, both of the highest awards available in the Civil Air Patrol. He also pursued a formal education at the Missouri University of Science and Technology, earning a Bachelor of Science in engineering management in 2011. Currently, Mr. Livergood is a co-owner of K&L Auto and Diesel Repairs LLC, which he helped establish in 2021. Notably, the company is a veteran-owned mobile maintenance service for fleets of diesel and gasoline vehicles and equipment that services Manassas, Virginia, and its surrounding areas. They are also accredited by the Better Business Bureau.
Outside of his professional expertise, Mr. Livergood has contributed his knowledge to several endeavors, including as a contributor to the book “We Are Stronger Together Strength in Diversity: Entrepreneurs and Business Leaders Across the Military Community,” published by Lisa Ducharme and Brenda Warren in 2023. Furthermore, in an endeavor of his sole ownership of Galleon Beachcomber Property LLC, he has continued to be more involved in real estate development and sales, focusing on single-family homes initially before expanding into commercial properties. To support this progression, he recently obtained additional credentialing by obtaining a Virginia real estate license with plans to eventually expand into other state licensing. His connection to entrepreneur-minded networks provides new opportunities to explore and apply concepts learned throughout his past and present paths. His future plans include finding ways to share his knowledge with others through partnerships and coaching outreach so others can find their way in their own personal entrepreneur journey.
As a testament to his success, Mr. Livergood was recognized for the growth of K&L Auto and Diesel Repairs LLC with the Emerging Business of the Year Award from the Prince William County Chamber of Commerce in 2023.
