Graham Veterans Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to advancing the welfare of veterans, their families and other military personnel. As part of his responsibilities, Mr. Haugaard leverages his comprehensive experience in logistics and finance to further support veterans and their families. Earlier in his career, he served as a buyer II at Vertex Aerospace LLC in 2024, where he maintained responsibility for purchasing equipment and services essential for aerospace operations, and as a subcontract administrator at Northrop Grumman from 2017 to 2020, where he managed subcontracts crucial for the B-2 Spirit program. He also worked extensively with IAP Worldwide Services, contributing his logistics and procurement prowess to support global projects.

Prior to transitioning to civilian life, Mr. Haugaard led an extensive career in the United States Army between 2005 and 2016. Starting as an ordinance officer and later becoming a procurement officer, he is most notable for leading efforts in building a battalion-sized element from scratch at the Fourth Aviation Support Brigade out of Fort Carson – a feat unseen by the Army in three decades. Impressively, he helped the unit grow from three to 700 personnel and served as the acting battalion executive officer. Outside of his primary responsibilities, Mr. Haugaard has been engaged civically with his community as an Eagle Scout, a participant with the Boy Scouts of America and a volunteer at Branches Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Building upon an advanced academic background, Mr. Haugaard holds a Bachelor of Science in America, U.S. law, legal studies and jurisprudence from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a Master of Arts in homeland security from the American Military University, which he earned in 2011 and 2014, respectively. As a testament to his success in the field, Mr. Haugaard has been honored with numerous accolades, including the Congressional Gold Award and the Carl E. Mundt Award. In the coming years, he aims to continue supporting veterans and their families while making a positive impact on the community as a whole.
