Establishing Key Concepts LLC in 2019, Joseph S. “Joey” Stevens currently serves as the owner of the design and development company, having thrived as a designer, developer, builder and investor for more than two decades. Notably, he works in collaboration with a team of design and building specialists dedicated to providing customers with premier, high-end products and services, particularly within the areas of engineering and planning.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Stevens served as a draftsman for WD&D Architects, one of the most prominent architectural firms in Little Rock, Arkansas. Following nearly 10 years with architecture firms, he earned a commercial contractors’ license through the Arkansas Contractors Licensing Board. Thereafter, he served as a founder and partner with C3 Homes & Development. Presently, Mr. Stevens is investing in and building a 32-unit townhome complex and most recently completed his subdivision, The Hollows at Beaver Lake.

To remain abreast of recent trends and developments in his areas of interest, Mr. Stevens has maintained an active affiliation with several organizations. He is a member of the Northwest Arkansas Home Builders Association and the American Institute of Architects, as well as a board member of the Home Builder Association. Likewise, to prepare for his career in design and construction, Mr. Stevens previously pursued a formal education at Southern Arkansas University Tech, receiving a degree in graphic and design. He subsequently earned a Bachelor of Science in construction management from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock in 2005.

To commemorate his achievements, Mr. Stevens has accrued numerous accolades and honors. Having formerly served in the United States Army for nine years, he earned a myriad of military decorations. Likewise, he was a Silver and Quality Award winner for his construction designs, as well as won the Online People Choice Award from the Northwest Arkansas Parade of Homes in 2022. In 2023, he was the Gold Winner at the Northwest Arkansas Parade of Homes.

In accounting for his success, Mr. Stevens credits the influence of his parents, who raised him in a terrific environment and helped him become a well-rounded individual. In the coming years, he aims to ease into a well-deserved retirement while remaining involved in his career as an investor.
