Supported by over 35 years of professional experience, Dr. Justice E. Obi is recognized as the president, head doctor and pharmacist at Graceland Biochemical Technology International LLC, a biotechnology and pharmaceutical company that supports services throughout Brooklyn, New York, and internationally. In his prestigious roles, he leverages various pharmaceutical combinations to develop innovative treatments for a myriad of diseases. Notably, he is well-regarded for his assistance in the creation of a novel topical treatment for high-risk HPV for women, having held two patents for HPV treatments that have since saved the lives of over 60 women in the United States. He also developed a similar treatment for genital warts.

Prior to embarking on his career, Dr. Obi pursued formal education at Texas Southern University, earning a Bachelor of Science in pharmacy studies in 1976. Thereafter, he continued his studies at the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juárez, earning a Doctor of Medicine in 1986. Certified by the National Institutes of Health and the Feinstein Institute of Medical Research at Long Island Jewish Hospital, Dr. Obi is also a registered pharmacist in the states of New York, New Jersey and Texas.

In light of his outstanding feats, Dr. Obi was named Star of the Month by The Diasporan Star in 2012. He credits much of his success to his sister, Dr. Andrea Taylor Obi, as well as several colleagues in his field who helped him rise to prominence in his industry. Likewise, he is particularly proud of his daughters, Dr. Marykay Obi and Dr. Prisca Obi, a Harvard graduate who is now attending Yale University for its PhD program.

Looking toward the future, Dr. Obi intends to bring his innovative medicine to the large-scale market, seeking to entice any potential investors to come on board for the betterment of others’ wellness in the world at large. He would also like to use his gifts of innovative thinking and selflessness to help underserved populations across the world. To this end, he would like to establish health centers throughout Africa and provide communities with necessary resources, such as food and water.

Dr. Obi lives and works by the motto, “Where there is no vision, there will be no hope, and where there is no desire, there will be no industry.” He also lives by the mantra, “When you can do the common things of life in an uncommon way, you will definitely command the attention of the world at large.”
