Drawing upon four decades of professional experience, Renee C. LeBoeuf is an accomplished government affairs official who has been serving with the Department of Homeland Security of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services since 2010. First joining the department as an information technology section chief, where she remained for two years, she concurrently served as a senior advisor in information technology planning and management between 2010 and 2015. Likewise, she was the deputy branch chief of information technology planning and management during that time. Since 2012, she has excelled as the deputy branch chief, and since 2017, she has been the senior advisor of immigration records and information services. Furthermore, from 2017 to 2021, Ms. LeBoeuf was a special assistant in the front office of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
Earlier in her career, Ms. LeBoeuf served with SAIC and the Logistics Management Institute in a myriad of positions, including as a program manager, senior test engineer, lead of logistics systems testing and software architect for the U.S. Army’s Future Combat Systems between 2001 and 2010. She was also the leader of SAIC’s Women’s Network from 2005 to 2010. Moreover, she was the director of public affairs in the U.S. Department of Commerce with the National Technical Information Service from 1993 to 2001 and a director of computer-aided acquisition of logistics support training and education in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense Production and Logistics from 1992 to 1993. From 1989 to 1992, Ms. LeBoeuf served as a professional staff member with the Defense Systems Management College, having previously spent the 1980s with SWL, Inc., as a logistics manager, speaker and briefer. She commenced her career in 1983 as a logistics analyst with BDM International.
To prepare for her career, Ms. LeBoeuf received a Bachelor of Science from George Mason University in 1983, followed by a Master of Science from Central Michigan University in 1988. Since that time, she has completed several courses, such as the graduate program management course through the Defense Systems Management College, the graduate leadership development program through the University of Maryland and the graduate coaching program through the Institute for Life Coach Training. Ms. LeBoeuf is a certified contracting officer’s representative, as well as a certified life coach, leadership coach, business coach and group coach.
To commemorate her achievements, Ms. LeBoeuf has received many honors, such as being named Best Speaker and Best Evaluator by Toastmasters International. Additionally, she earned the Excellence Award from the U.S. Department of Defense, the Outstanding Service Award from the U.S. Department of Commerce and the Director’s Award from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Looking toward the future, Ms. LeBoeuf intends to experience the continued success of her career.
