Since 2021, Nicholas F. Malinowski has excelled as a lecturer in economics at The London School of Economics and Political Science. Focusing his attention on teaching online courses in macroeconomics and microeconomics, he also specializes in the study of commodity derivatives and financial market exchanges within the oil and gas, metals and minerals, and electricity and renewable energy markets.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Malinowski served in the area of economic policy research with the American Chamber of Commerce in China in 2011, then served as a researcher for the Albright Stonebridge Group for the following year. Between 2013 and 2017, he subsequently thrived as a consultant with the Springhill Consulting Group and then as a research associate for Stax, Inc. Likewise, Mr. Malinowski was an adjunct professor of economics for the European Business School Paris in Geneva, Switzerland.

To remain abreast of developments in his fields of interest, Mr. Malinowski was elected a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success. In pursuit of his own education, he previously received a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy, politics and economics from the University of Pennsylvania in 2009. He then earned a master’s degree in international economics and a Master of Business Administration in finance from the University of Denver in 2018 and 2019, respectively. Following these feats, Mr. Malinowski completed coursework toward a Doctor of Philosophy at the Colorado School of Mines and the University of Colorado, Denver. To this end, he also holds a certificate in Mandarin from Tsinghua University and in natural resource economics and the political economy of energy from the Geneva Graduate Institute.

As a testament to his success, Mr. Malinowski was honored with a Daniels Scholar Award from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver. He also earned a Korbel Faculty Scholarship to the Josef Korbal School of International Studies at the University of Denver and was honored in recognition of his outstanding grade point average. In the coming years, Mr. Malinowski aims to continue working collaboratively with his colleagues in the research of commodities and commodity-derivative markets, with the ultimate goal of becoming involved in multi-strategy investing in hedge funds.
