A seventh-generation equestrian, Ermes Zamperla is recognized as a prolific professional artist and accomplished horseback rider. Spending his career in the realm of the performing arts, he is a former equestrian and acrobat of several organizations, including the Cheval Theatre, Cirque Ma’Ceo by Cavallo Equestrian Arts, Valitar, and Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus. Over the course of his career, Mr. Zamperla participated in one of the final shows of the Ringling Brothers in 2015, where he impressed audiences by flipping on horses and performing acrobats.
Mr. Zamperla attributes much of his current success to many variables, including his own perseverance, his ability to work in diverse fields, his performing ability, and his aptitude for educating adults and children the intricacies of trick-riding. The youngest of four siblings, Mr. Zamperla was inspired by his brothers, who all entered the performing arts and engaged in trick-riding. Notably, one of his brothers has continued performing in shows and has toured across the world.
Owning five horses in his own personal endeavors, Mr. Zamperla was equally inspired by his family heritage, having been raised by parents who were both circus performers. As a testament to his success in the field, he was featured in Sarasota Magazine in Florida in 2022. A respected Marquis Who’s Who listee, he has also been highlighted in Millennium, A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine.
In the coming years, Mr. Zamperla intends to continue trick-riding and engaging in his artistic expression. Ultimately, he would like trick-riding to become a more respected art form and televised as a major sport.
