Possessing over four decades of expertise within the field of medicine, Dr. Timothy Francis has excelled as a chiropractor and the owner of Chiropractic Kinesiology since 1985. In his Las Vegas office, he has leveraged his innovative system of techniques to provide state-of-theart services to his clients’ health issues, including applied kinesiology and dietary counseling. Likewise, he evaluates the structural, chemical and mental portions of his patients’ ailments to develop individualized treatment plans and performs joint adjustments and mobilization.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Francis served as a lead instructor in the department of principles and practice at the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, Southern California University of Health Sciences in the mid-1980s, through which he taught several courses to prospective medical professionals in relation to biomechanics and the adjustments of the pelvic, lumbar and cervical systems. At the inception of his professional career, he was a faculty member in the department of recreation and physical education at the University of Nevada, Reno between 1976 and 1980. Outside of his primary vocational efforts, Dr. Francis served as the chair of several academic committees with the International College of Applied Kinesiology, having also served as the college’s treasurer of its international council.
To prepare for his robust career, Dr. Francis first attended the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, Southern California University of Health Sciences. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in 1982 and a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1984, graduating magna cum laude. He subsequently earned a Master of Science in biology and nutrition from the University of Bridgeport in 1990 and went on to earn a diploma from the British Institute of Homeopathy. He also holds a doctorate from the American Naturopathic Medical Certification and Accreditation Board and is a diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management and the International College of Applied Kinesiology. He has been recognized with a NMD degree, doctorate in homeopathy and a fellowship in homeopathy, and as a fellow in acupuncture by the International Academy of Clinical Acupuncture.
Demonstrating versatility in his field, Dr. Francis has contributed over 30 articles to professional journals and other related publications. He also served as an editorial review board member for the Alternative Medicine Review, as well as periodicals for both Kinesiologic Medicine and the International Journal of Applied Kinesiology. Most notably, he was appointed to participate in a joint study at the National Olympic Sports Training Center in Beijing, during which time he presented a demonstration lecture on applied kinesiology to attendees. He was further selected as an adjunct clinical instructor at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon.
As a testament to his success, Dr. Francis was honored with the Allen Beardall Memorial Award from the International College of Applied Kinesiology on four occasions, recognizing him as the only individual to receive the accolade four times in light of his pivotal role in a number of groundbreaking studies. He was also the recipient of the Scholar of the Year Award from the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi following his tenure as vice president of the honor society.
