Since 1992, Mark D. Duffy has excelled as the president and chief executive officer of Application Production Processing System in New Orleans, Louisiana. Congruent with this effort, he previously served as an agent for New York Life Insurance Company in New Orleans for 36 years between 1982 and 2018, through which he was recognized for his extensive expertise in human relations. Earlier in his career, he was a law enforcement official for nearly 20 years from 1964 to 1982, where he served the New Orleans Police Department. Mr. Duffy was initially inspired to pursue law enforcement by his father, who also excelled as a police officer.

In addition to these tasks, Mr. Duffy is noteworthy in his community for being an agent of record for the City of New Orleans since 1983, having served in the same role for the State of Louisiana between 1990 and 2021. Civically, he is a former Eucharistic minister for the Archdiocese of New Orleans. Leveraging his background in law enforcement, Mr. Duffy was invited to design and create a special parade for the State of Mississippi’s Bicentennial Ceremony in 2017, during which time more than 50 parade units were involved in the celebration. Notably, the parade memorialized Mississippi’s 200th anniversary of statehood and, as a testament to his efforts, Mr. Duffy was honored with a special commendation.

Mr. Duffy has maintained affiliation with the New Orleans Police Mounted Division, the Fraternal Order of Police and the Police Association of New Orleans. Additionally, he is a member of the Barron’s Club and a life member of the Underwriters Association. In light of his exceptional undertakings, he was honored as Policeman of the Year and Policeman of the Month by the American Legion in 1976. In 2016, he was also named Outstanding Citizen of the Year for civic achievements by the Hancock Chamber of Commerce in Mississippi. However, despite his lauded achievements, Mr. Duffy is most gratified by his opportunity to create the “Blessing of the Classics” car event through Cruisin’ the Coast in the State of Mississippi.
