Drawing upon more than 40 years of eminent experience in the field of law, Anders J. Norgaard has been excelling as an attorney with his eponymously named private firm, Anders J. Norgaard, P.C., in Belle Plaine, Iowa, since 1977. Emphasizing his practice on probate, estate planning, income tax, real estate and business law, among other areas of practice, Mr. Norgaard holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in management and industrial relations and a Doctor of Jurisprudence, both from the University of Iowa.

Alongside his primary endeavors, Mr. Norgaard also served on the bench as a rural Magistrate in Benton County, Iowa, for more than 30 years and is recognized as a retired lieutenant colonel of the United States Air Force. Serving in the military for more than 23 years, he is notable for being a Vietnam veteran, having served in Southeast Asia for 14 months.

Mr. Norgaard has maintained affiliation with the American Bar Association and the Iowa Bar Association, and he is a past president of his local chapter of Rotary International. He attributes his success to the example his parents reflected upon him as successful immigrants, noting that they were both hard working individuals who provided him with a strong foundation upon which to jumpstart his career.

Married to his wife Geraldine for many years, Mr. Norgaard is the proud father of four children: Jens, Nicole, Sven and Bjorn. He also has 11 grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys spending quality time with his family. Looking toward the future, he intends to experience the continued growth and success of his career while also easing into a well-deserved retirement.
