After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California Los Angeles, Ms. Griver went on to spearhead her own company, Compsych Systems, Inc., in Los Angeles in 1962, after receiving much recognition from her local and national communities. Serving as Compsych Systems’ chief executive officer for several decades, she attributes her immense success to her persistence in the face of adversity, patience and due diligence.
While serving Compsych Systems, Ms. Griver furthered her education and earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California Los Angeles and master’s degree in human factors psychology from the University of Southern California. Ms. Griver has also been a consultant to numerous organizations.
Branching off from her executive endeavors, Ms. Griver is an accomplished author who has written several books, her most notable including her children’s book series about Curio, a Shetland sheepdog. Currently, she is in the process of writing and publishing a book tentatively titled “The Adventures of a Woman Entrepreneur,” which is slated for release in March 2020.
To remain abreast of developments in the field, Ms. Griver has maintained affiliation with the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society, in which she served as secretary in 2003, and the International Association of Nanotechnology. Civically involved as well, she has been a noted member and past president of the Pacific Palisades Lions Club, and a past member of the Pacific Palisades Chamber of Commerce.
Born in New York in 1932, Ms. Griver currently resides in Santa Monica. She has been featured in several Who’s Who publications and enjoys traveling, reading and exploring technology in her spare time.
