Marrone, Stephen 4142104_27434992 NewsletterDrawing upon more than four decades of experience as a clinician, educator, administrator, consultant, researcher and scholar in both the United States and the Middle East, Dr. Stephen R. Marrone is a dedicated figure in his field. A registered professional nurse since the 1980s, he currently serves as an associate professor at Long Island University.

Highly educated, Dr. Marrone holds both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Nursing, as well as an EdD. He has authored more than 40 publications in peer-reviewed nursing and health care journals and texts. Likewise, he has presented more than 50 podium and poster presentations at national and international conferences.

Maintaining affiliation with the Transcultural Nursing Society, the American Nurses Association, the American Organization of Nurses Executives and Leaders, and the New York Organization of Nurse Executives and Leaders, Dr. Marrone is also a member of the Association for Nursing Professional Development and the American Assembly for Men in Nursing.

As a testament to his success in the field, Dr. Marrone has been celebrated on numerous occasions, earning features in Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Nursing, and Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare. However, he cites a highlight of his career to be the work he conducted in Saudi Arabia in transcultural nursing.
