He obtained a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Engineering Science from University College Dublin, where he graduated with first-class honors. He also holds a Master of Science from University College Dublin in Ireland and a Doctor of Philosophy in chemical engineering from Yale University. After receiving his degrees, he was elected a research fellow at the Irish Institute for Industrial Research in Dublin, Ireland, from 1970 to 1971. He was then elected an ICI research fellow at the University of Cambridge in Cambridge, England, from 1971 to 1973. Specializing in several areas in business and engineering, Dr. Kehoe began his career as a technical and product manager, and director at DuPont from 1973 to 2004. He then became president of The Blasket Group Ltd. in Wilmington, DE, and Chadds Ford, PA, from 2004 to 2016.
As an accomplished engineer, Dr. Kehoe attributes his professional success to his parents, who were both very intelligent and always encouraged him to learn new things. Throughout his career, he has gained skills in product development and management, strategic planning, business strategy, planning, and development, mergers and acquisitions, and manufacturing. In his spare time outside of work, Dr. Kehoe enjoys exercising, reading and attending plays.
