Amassing more than 15 years of professional excellence, Michael A. DiTeresa,
MD, is an acclaimed physician and internist whose career interests involve
matters of hypertension, diabetes mellitus and thyroid conditions, among other
practice areas. Currently serving with Tomball Adult Internal Medicine, where he is
responsible for overseeing patient care and education, he maintains affiliation with
St. Luke’s Medical Center, Tomball Regional Medical Center and Houston Methodist
Willowbrook Hospital.

A prominent figure in the health care industry, Dr. DiTeresa earned his undergraduate
degree from Rice University, where he graduated magna cum laude in 1996. He
subsequently received a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Southwestern
Medical Center in 2000. Certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine,
he completed a residency in internal medicine through the Baylor Health Care System.

As a testament to his professional success, Dr. DiTeresa has accrued several accolades
throughout his impressive career. The recipient of the On-Time Doctor Award in
2008 and 2014, he was also honored with the Compassionate Doctor Award in 2013,
the Compassionate Doctor Recognition Award every year from 2009 to 2013, and the
Patients’ Choice Award in 2008. In addition, he was named an Elite American Physician
in 2016, an Industry Leader in 2017, and a Top Doctor in 2018. Likewise, Marquis Who’s
Who recognized him with the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018, and he was featured
in The Wall Street Journal on March 30, 2018.
