Supported by 40 years of professional experience, Dr. Jeffery Jerome Grace is a respected figure in psychiatry and addiction medicine, known for his dedication to providing the best care for each patient. Since 2021, he has worked as a general adult psychiatrist at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, where he practices in the outpatient mental health clinic. Concurrently, Dr. Grace has operated his private practice, Jeffery Jerome Grace, MD, P.C., since 2000 and has been the medical director at Promesa Inc., Alba De Vida, a substance use disorder outpatient clinic, since 2016.

Earlier in his career, Dr. Grace served as the clinical director at the Buffalo Psychiatric Center from 1990 to 2020, where his longstanding tenure was marked by the number of patients whose lives improved after entering his care. Similarly, he served as the chief of forensic psychiatry and the director of correctional health at the Westchester County Medical Center from 1986 to 1988, overseeing methadone maintenance programs and providing psychiatric care for inmates.

Dr. Grace has contributed his expertise to academia by serving as a clinical assistant professor of psychiatry at the State University of New York at Buffalo since 1990. He previously held a similar role at the New York Medical College. Additionally, Dr. Grace was a consulting psychiatrist for chemical dependency services at the Erie County Medical Center for over 10 years. To stay current with developments in his field, he has maintained professional alignment with the American Society of Addiction Medicine, the American Board of Addiction Medicine and the American Psychiatric Association, which has recognized him as a life fellow since 2018. Furthermore, Dr. Grace served as the president of the Western New York Psychiatric Society from 1993 to 1994.

As a testament to his remarkable success, Dr. Grace has received numerous awards throughout his career. In 2001, he was honored with the Exemplary Psychiatrist Award from the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill, and later in 2007, he received the Dr. Charles A. Weiss Distinguished Service Award from the Greater Buffalo Counseling Center Inc.

Dr. Grace holds a Doctor of Medicine from Wayne State University, earned in 1981, and completed a residency in adult psychiatry at the University of California Davis Medical Center in 1985. He finished his medical training with a research fellowship in the biological and psychopharmacology of psychiatry at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1986. Looking ahead, Dr. Grace aims to continue experiencing success in his career in psychiatry and addiction medicine while dedicating time to others in need of mental health care.
