
Drawing upon nearly 10 years of professional expertise, Houston J. Hartz is a rising leader in the field of health care administration. Since 2022, he has served as the director of business development at YesCare, where he maintains responsibility for cultivating relationships with new and existing clients within the correctional health care industry. Supported by extensive experience in business operations and sales, Mr. Hartz is widely regarded for his effective communication skills and passion for implementing health care solutions for patients in correctional facilities. To this end, he is focused on improving patient outcomes, especially in addressing such issues as opioid use disorder and improving reentry services in surrounding communities.
Previously, Mr. Hartz served as an orthopedic sales representative for Arthrex in 2022. Earlier in his career, he worked extensively for Corizon Health between 2018 and 2022, commencing his tenure with the organization as a health services administrator-in-training. Remaining in this capacity for one year, he was promoted to the rank of assistant health services administrator in 2019 and health services administrator in 2020. Mr. Hartz also served as an executive intern at Murray-Calloway County Hospital in 2018 and Owensboro Health in 2017. In addition, he draws upon a Bachelor of Science in health care administration, which he earned from Murray State University in 2018.
In accounting for his success, Mr. Hartz credits the resounding influence of his family, who taught him the values of discipline, selflessness and compassion, as well as his formal education and unwavering desire to help others succeed. Although he has experienced a myriad of career accomplishments, Mr. Hartz is particularly proud of allocating the necessary health care resources to incarcerated individuals to help them re-enter civilian life.
Mr. Hartz maintains involvement with Helping Hands, through which he mentored a child with cerebral palsy. Looking ahead, he aims to experience the continued growth and success of his career. Ultimately, he would like to help patients with addiction and collaborate with his colleagues to develop innovative treatments for opioid use disorder. In his spare time, Mr. Hartz enjoys playing golf and hiking with his dog.
