Supported by nearly 40 years of professional experience, Dr. Huei Chen Cheng is well-regarded in the fields of psychology, psychotherapy and religious services. Since 1997, she has thrived as the chief executive officer of CCCC Inc., where she provides counseling and coaching to aid individuals in their life journeys. During this time, Dr. Cheng has also lent her expertise to her community at various programs to help the food insecure and unhoused populations. In addition, she has provided counseling and support services for parents, children, women and couples navigating relationship challenges.
Over the course of her career, Dr. Cheng has worked at several mental health facilities, hospitals and churches to share her wealth of knowledge and contribute to the well-being of others. From 1984 to 1987, she was a pharmacist at Chong Kung Hospital in South Asia. After relocating to the United States, she was a founding pastor at three American churches to foster growth in new ministries. Likewise, she served as a pharmacy staff member at Emory University Hospital from 1999 to 2011, a chaplain and counselor at the Carpenter Addiction Recovery Ministry from 2001 to 2002, and a counselor at the Department of Labor Vocational Rehab Counseling Service from 2005 to 2006.
Shortly thereafter, Dr. Cheng was a counselor at the Sugar Hill United Methodist Church Heaven of Hope Counseling Center, where she conducted psychotherapy to over 3,000 youth, adults and seniors. Moreover, she was a chaplain and spiritual counselor at Northside Hospital, St. Joseph Hospital, Crawford Long Hospital and the Wesley Wood Center between 2004 and 2005, providing psychotherapy services to teenagers, adults and seniors and leveraging a holistic approach to manage grief and depression. For the following year, Dr. Cheng served as a senior pastor at Eliam United Methodist Church, having thereafter served in the same capacity at Midway United Methodist Church from 2006 to 2007.
Impressively, Dr. Cheng is a best-selling author, having most recently co-authored “The Game Changers: Inspirational Stories that Changed Lives” in 2022. She has also co-authored two other best-selling books, “Leverage Your Expertise” and “Monetize Your Expertise.” All three titles are available for purchase on Amazon.
In accounting for her success, Dr. Cheng credits her parents, both of whom excelled in their respective careers, taught Dr. Cheng the value of a Christian faith, and instilled in Dr. Cheng a deeply rooted desire to help others. She also attributes her success to the influence of her grandparents, who were esteemed physicians and regularly offered free medical services and food to the community.
