Sarah K. Walker draws upon 20 years of professional experience in the real estate sector, having represented clients as a realtor at Elite Realty since 2004. In her position, she aids a myriad of clients in purchasing their dream homes or selling their residential properties throughout Las Vegas. With a particular focus on probate estate listings, she has exemplified an unwavering dedication to her work to ensure her clients’ satisfaction with the buying or selling process from inception to completion.
Prior to delving into the field of real estate, Ms. Walker served as a banker for more than 30 years, primarily working in the Southern Nevada region. While in the banking sector, she worked for Wells Fargo in numerous roles, including as a customer service manager, assistant vice president and trust officer. She also served with Zions National Bank as a vice president and regional manager of trust administration until 2003. Concurrently, Ms. Walker was an adjunct professor at the American Institute of Banking for many years until departing from education in 2000.
To prepare for her career, Ms. Walker studied at the University of North Carolina, undertaking coursework in trust administration, personal trust, probate estates, guardianship and investment services through the Cannon Financial School of Trust between 1992 and 1994. Subsequently, she earned certification as a Certified Trust Financial Advisor (CTFA) in 1994 and a real estate license in 2004.
Civically engaged in her community as well, Ms. Walker has held several roles on the region board of the Sierra Nevada region of Soroptimist International. Similarly, she is a former and current president of Soroptimist International of the Las Vegas Valley, a local chapter of Soroptimist International of the Americas. In this regard, Ms. Walker is proud to elevate the organization’s mission to provide women and young girls with equitable access to education and training services to achieve economic stability and empowerment. Furthermore, Ms. Walker has been the president and a board member of Break These Chains “Live Free,” a nonprofit organization that raises awareness of human trafficking.
Looking toward the future, Ms. Walker endeavors to continue her success in real estate and focus on conducting more work in probate estate listings.
