Drawing upon more than 20 years of professional excellence, Svetlin Todorov is distinguished as the co-founder and chief executive officer of Shelly USA, a division of Shelly that offers products with intelligent and innovative Internet-of-Things (IoT) applications for nearly all electrical systems and circuits. With Shelly headquartered in Sofia, Bulgaria, Shelly USA is the American branch of the company that offers products and solutions to the Americas. Mr. Todorov leverages his expertise in telecommunications, media, advertising and technology to oversee the company’s business partnerships.
Mr. Todorov established his first business in 1997, having founded an international advertising agency focusing on fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG). As time progressed, he became a co-founder of Teracomm and escalated to the rank of shareholder and chief executive officer by 2004. The company gained momentum during this time through offering mobile services and marketing. Mr. Todorov became the chief executive officer of Global Teracomm – Teracomm’s U.S.-based division – in 2010, remaining until 2019. A leader in the commercial and technical divisions of products and services for the mobile and entertainment industries, Teracomm then expanded the scope of its services beyond Bulgaria, went public on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, and was restructured into Allterco Holding Company BG. Mr. Todorov was the chief executive officer of Allterco Holding Company BG between 2010 and 2023 while concurrently serving as chief executive officer of Allterco Robotics US from 2019 to 2023.
Among the notable highlights of his career, Mr. Todorov is particularly proud of playing a pivotal role in the successful expansion of Shelly USA. He emphasizes that his relentless dedication and astute leadership skills were instrumental in transforming the company from a small office to a globally recognized enterprise with over 200 employees. Mr. Todorov holds a Master of Business Administration from The Open University in London, England, which he obtained in 1998. Earlier, he completed coursework in Bulgarian language and literature and cultural sciences at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Looking toward the future, Mr. Todorov endeavors to pass down his legacy to a deserving individual at Shelly USA and plans to begin a new business venture. Married with twin sons, he was born in Bulgaria and immigrated to the United States in 2012. In his spare time, he enjoys attending sporting events and playing golf.
