Recently named to Who’s Who of Professional Women by Marquis Who’s Who in 2024, Caroline DeBerry currently thrives as the founder and chief executive officer of Tenagrity Solutions. Founding the business in 2023, Ms. DeBerry sits at the helm of the consultancy, which offers strategy, communications, operations and scalability consulting services. Notably, Tenagrity Solutions works with both non-profit and for-profit organizations in academia and the health care and defense industries, leveraging its focus on health care and defense policy and innovation.

Previously, Ms. DeBerry served as the vice president of Paragon Health Institute from 2021 to 2023 and the chief external affairs officer of Remote Area Medical (RAM) from 2019 to 2021. While serving RAM, she worked closely with the United States Assistant Secretary for Health and the Surgeon General; her work included assistance with the COVID-19 pandemic response. Ms. DeBerry was also a senior legislative assistant to Congressman John J. Duncan Jr., serving as a congressional staffer from 2015 to 2018. Between 2013 and 2015, Ms. DeBerry was the founder and chief executive officer of her first consultancy, Checkmate Consulting, focused on Federal Election Commission (FEC) compliance. Previously, she served as a senior analyst for the FEC and in varying positions with the re-election campaigns of U.S. Senator Lamar Alexander, U.S. Congressman Tom Price and Governor Sonny Perdue.

Ms. DeBerry holds a Bachelor of Science in United States Government from Freed-Hardeman University, which she earned in 2010. She subsequently completed coursework toward a Doctor of Jurisprudence at the Jones School of Law at Faulkner University between 2014 and 2015. Impressively, she was on the Dean’s List and earned the Faith and Law Full-Tuition Scholarship. Outside of her academic honors, Ms. DeBerry received the FEC Greatest Overall Contribution to the Branch Award.

Among the many milestones of her career, Ms. DeBerry is particularly proud of working as a senior congressional staff member, through which she collaborated with the head of Medicare to address Medicare reimbursement challenges faced by hospitals. In the coming years, Ms. DeBerry endeavors to lend her expertise to the Office of Personnel and Management or the Departments of Defense and Health and Human Services.
