A distinguished figure in military service and nonprofit administration, Leonard P. Kaine currently serves as the founder and president of the Golden Rule Society, a charitable organization that offers educational and character-building programs to children, with a particular emphasis on children of military service members and law enforcement personnel. Founding the organization in 1972, Mr. Kaine has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize on five separate occasions for his illuminating work and goal of attaining world peace through living the Golden Rule, having modernized the Golden Rule from eight major religious texts.

While pursuing this venture, Mr. Kaine previously served as an airline captain for Pacific Southwest Airlines with U.S. Airways from 1967 to 1986 and was a realtor, owner, broker and developer of Strand-Crown in Coronado, California, in 1980. Likewise, he served diligently in the United States Navy, joining the armed forces in 1954 until retiring from the military in 1980. During his service, Mr. Kaine was the youngest naval officer to be promoted to captain in 1972 and was selected as a Two Star Admiral in 1975, having also been recognized as the United States Navy’s first “East Coast Top Gun” and the first “All Navy Top Gun” in 1956. Decorated with a myriad of military accolades, Mr. Kaine was a fighter tactics instructor, setting the record for flying six different aircraft in air combat maneuvering in just two days, and was selected as a navigator on the USS Enterprise, the lead nuclear-powered ship to circumnavigate the globe unreplenished. Moreover, as a prolific linguist, Mr. Kaine narrated the firepower demonstrations in English, Spanish and French to the heads of 22 foreign countries. He received the J.S. McCain Trophy, the All-Navy Enlisted Retention Trophy and the Command at Sea Star, among many other decorations.

Adjacent to his professional endeavors, Mr. Kaine has been the chairman of the board of Nationwide Reality Pilot LLC, a member of his local Christ Episcopal Church, and a 32nd Degree Freemason. Serving on the board of Practice Interactive LLC, he also lent his expertise as a radio host for the “Better World Radio Show” and the “HOPE Collection” radio show. Most impressively, he is a partner and advisor of INTIVA Health, which was selected as the number one organization in the world supporting the medical industry.

Looking toward the future, Mr. Kaine aims to continue the success of the Golden Rule Society and spend more time with his family. Married to his wife Anne since 1959, he is the proud father of David, Glenn, Laura and Lynn and has five grandchildren.
