Supported by over 50 years of professional experience, Maurice J. Jordan has excelled in the fields of real estate and culinary arts. Serving as a real estate broker for Coldwell Banker in Los Angeles, California, since 2011, he is responsible for working with his clients who seek to purchase, sell or invest in a variety of properties, including multi-family apartment buildings, strip malls and office buildings. Alongside this endeavor, Mr. Jordan has been serving as a property manager at SNT Properties since 2017.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Jordan served with Coldwell Banker in several roles, including as a sales associate from 2004 to 2006 and as a general manager and broker associate from 2007 to 2011. Additionally, he was a cook and chef between the 1980s and 2000s throughout the states of California, Hawaii, Nevada, Florida and Missouri before transitioning to the real estate industry. To this end, he was a rounds cook at the Union Oyster House in Boston, Massachusetts, from 1975 to 1976, a second cook at Café L’Orange in Concord, Massachusetts, from 1974 to 1975, and a second cook at the Locke-Ober Café in Boston from 1973 to 1974. During his vocation, Mr. Jordan completed coursework in the Culinary Department of the Occupational Resource Center in Boston and the John Robert Powers School of Modeling. He received certifications in food storage and sanitation from the Institutional Management Institute in 1984, followed by a certification as a working chef from the American Culinary Federation in 1986. He also received food manager certifications in 2001 and 2003.

To attest to his success, Mr. Jordan has received numerous accolades. Honored with the Sterling Award from Coldwell Banker, he also previously received an Excellence Award as Sous Chef and Banquet Chef from Marriott International. In 2018, he was highlighted in a newspaper article for being a known broker in Santa Monica, California, as well. Outside of his primary interests, Mr. Jordan is a member of Toastmasters International and regularly participates in charity marathons and with APLA Health and Boston Children’s Hospital.

In the coming years, Mr. Jordan intends to continue serving as a real estate broker, as well as engage in more public speaking events through Toastmasters International.
