For nearly 25 years, Bruce M. Rubino has been recognized as the chief executive officer of Nationwide Chimney & Fireplace Solutions. The company is renowned as the number one chimney and fireplace builder in the New York City metropolitan area, having been recognized extensively across a wide range of employers, including management firms, architects, celebrities and homeowners. Impressively, Nationwide Chimney & Fireplace Solutions built the largest fireplace in New York City, a 50-foot wide fireplace in The Hit Factory of New York City. For the company’s achievements, they were recognized in Sweeps Magazine in 2008.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Rubino served Coal Brookdale in New York City between 1996 and 2017, where he worked in chimney and fireplace restoration of 18th-century projects. He also spent significant time teaching students the value of nautical skills at a private school, having held a certificate as a licensed captain with the United States Coast Guard since 2011. Also holding a certification in mold analysis and identity through the National Association of Mold Professionals, Mr. Rubino received an associate degree from La Salle College of the Arts in 1965.

Outside of his primary career efforts, Mr. Rubino has lent his time to various civic endeavors, including service as president of the board of directors of the Island Inn Resort in Florida since 2018. Likewise, he has been a volunteer at the Brookhaven Animal Shelter and contributes to the ASPCA, the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, the Coalition for the Homeless, Greenpeace, and organizations that promote the welfare of seals and dolphins.

Attributing a great deal of his success to his knowledge of the industry, perseverance through struggles, professionalism and honesty, Mr. Rubino is especially proud of the progress of Nationwide Chimney & Fireplace Solutions over the years. Notably, he worked alongside John Simpson, the architect of the Apthorp Building and Buckingham Palace. Looking toward the future, he intends to move into consultation work and spend more time with his friends and family.
