Specializing in pain therapy and psychological healing, Dr. Juliette Frances Goodell Gavaldon is a noted psychologist with a diverse background stemming from the 1980s. At the inception of her career in 1988, she served as an intake military personnel specialist with the Schofield Army Barracks in Hawaii until 1989. From 1990 to 1991, she subsequently served in accounting and finance with the Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company, Inc. Following this tenure, she also served in social services with the Hawaii Department of Human Services until 1997. Since 1998, she has excelled as a hypnotherapist with Pain Management Through Hypnosis. Likewise, she has thrived as a psychologist with North Shore Mental Health since 2011.

Alongside her primary vocational endeavors, Dr. Goodell undertook coursework at the Washington Association of Realtors Graduate Realtor Institute. She is an ordained minister, leveraging her ministerial certification to perform marriage ceremonies. Before commencing her career, she earned an Associate of Arts from Tacoma Junior College in 1980 and a Bachelor of Science in political science from the Chaminade University of Honolulu in 1981. In the mid-1990s, she was further accepted to the Richardson School of Law before stepping back from the legal industry and pursuing psychology instead.

Other academic credentials to Dr. Goodell’s credit include a master’s degree in hypnotherapy in pain management from the Pacific Institute of Maui and a Master of Science in substance abuse addictions treatment from Grand Canyon University, received in 1997 and 2011, respectively. After completing coursework in professional counseling at Grand Canyon University Online in 2014, Dr. Goodell received a Doctor of Philosophy in religious philosophy.

Attributing much of her success to her dedication to her profession and her drive to excel in all her endeavors, Dr. Goodell is incredibly proud of helping a myriad of patients over the course of her career. To this end, she is gratified by having long-term patients who still ask for her help, even after many decades. Looking toward the future, Dr. Goodell intends to publish a book she is presently writing, which will discuss the trials and tribulations of a young girl struggling with self-esteem issues.
