Boasting a diversified career background, Darrell G. Musick has served as a consultant, entrepreneur and educator across myriad industries beginning at the age of 17. Hired by prominent businessman, Sol Price, to be an assistant with the Fed Mart Corporation and Price Club beginning in 1954, Mr. Musick developed resounding knowledge and expertise on disruptive technologies and the “big box” store concept. Showing great prowess in his work, he was subsequently promoted to operational manager for more than 10 discount stores across seven states. In this position, he was notably responsible for more than 2,000 employees.

Following his tenure there, Mr. Musick served as the Western regional manager for A Hartz Mountain Corporation from 1970 to 1974 and general manager and director of operations for Crocker Capital Corporation Division from 1974 to 1978. Deciding thereafter to open his own business, he founded Musick Enterprises, Inc. in San Diego in 1975, in which he purchased, redeveloped and sold businesses across the board, including commercial and residential real estate. Relocating to Oceanside, California, he then specialized in the purchase and integration of creational vehicle businesses and franchises through Musick Enterprises’ Hyko Division between 1983 and 1993.

Shortly thereafter, Mr. Musick served as the founder and president of Security Asset, Inc. from 1993 to 2003. In this distinguished role, he took the company public on the stock market and topped the NASDAQ. During this astounding stretch of time, he was recognized for his diligent work ethic and garnered political connections throughout the U.S. government. Since 2003, Mr. Musick has served as a realtor with Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC, holding several certifications such as a CNSA/CMSA, contract negotiator, probate and trust sales agent, new agent group trainer and REO/short sale specialist, as well as a Feng Shui agent.

Recently retired, Mr. Musick was the founder and president of the Sigma Seven Group, with whom he has served as a fixer and consultant across all industries, serving numerous Fortune 500 companies who struggle with complex business issues. Alongside his primary ventures, Mr. Musick excelled as a former lecturer and teacher for the Graduate School of Business at the University of California Los Angeles.

Renowned for his ability to listen to clients’ problems, learn about their businesses, evaluate their pursuits and complex issues, and suggest solutions, Mr. Musick notes that it is integral to listen instead of speak, as individuals learn from listening and not talking. Looking toward the future, he intends to continue flourishing in his current path until he is unable to work.
