Vogel, Cedric 4285574_16740011 NewsletterDrawing upon nearly five decades of professional excellence in the legal industry, Cedric Wakelee Vogel, Esq., has been serving in a sole practice in Cincinnati since 1997. Supported by a real estate sales license to earn commissions in real estate transactions, he previously served his father’s firm, Vogel, Heis & Wenstrup, in 1972 after receiving a JD. There, he was a general practitioner and later became of counsel to the firm.

Formerly serving in the U.S. Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) between 1969 and 1970, Mr. Vogel has maintained affiliation with myriad organizations on a local, regional, national and international scale. In 2018, he was chairman of the 109th General Council Meeting of the Ohio Society of Colonial Wars, and has maintained membership with the Florida Society of Colonial Wars in 2017, the Cincinnati Opera Guild from 1997 to 1999 and Keep Cincinnati Beautiful, Inc., where he was chairman between 1994 and 1996. Furthermore, he sat on the board of directors of such organizations as the Mercantile Library, the Cincinnati Preservation Association and the Cincinnati Country Day School, and is a past president of the Cincinnati branch of the English Speaking Union.

Among his many civic involvements, Mr. Vogel is notable for being a member of the Queen City Club in Cincinnati, the oldest and most prestigious club in the city which was established in 1874. He has also been a chairman or vice chairman of the Children’s Heart Association of Reds Rally, the Act II Nutcracker Ball and the Men’s Committee of the Cincinnati Art Museum. He is a past trustee of the Heimlich Institute, past president of the Cincinnati Harvard Club and member of the Manorial Society of Great Britain, among several other responsibilities.

In light of his exceptional undertakings in law and civil service, Mr. Vogel has garnered a number of accolades and recognitions. In 2015, he was honored with the Outstanding Small Cities Award from the Yale Alumni Association. A celebrated Marquis listee, he has also been selected for inclusion in Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Law and Who’s Who in the World.
