Prior to her current roles, Dr. Schaupp served LCL Bulk Transport, Inc., as director and secretary-treasurer from 1962 to 1970. Going back to her creative works, she is a past freelance writer and woman’s editor of the Green Bay Press Gazette. She also notably founded Ephram Publishing. Alongside her primary career endeavors, Dr. Schaupp has been the president of the Manna Company since 1992 and is a former master gardener in De Pere, Wisconsin, and lecturer at the St. Francis Xavier Cathedral.
Certified in theology by St. Norbert College since 1979, Dr. Schaupp holds a Doctor of Ministry from the Graduate Theological Foundation. Drawing upon prior bachelor’s degrees and master’s degrees, she was honored with the Distinguished Service Award and Distinguished Citizenship Award from St. Norbert College in 2004. Dr. Schaupp has also maintained affiliation with the American Academy of Religion, the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, Franciscans International and the Society of Biblical Literature.
Outside of her professional work, Dr. Schaupp is a published author, having written three books, “Jesus Was a Teenager,” “Elohim: A Search for a Symbol for Human Fulfillment” and “Woman: Image of the Holy Spirit,” which debuted in 1975 and most recently re-released in 2019 in paperback. Most proud of this book, she notes that it was recognized by the National Conference of Christians and Jews, now known as the National Conference for Community and Justice. A member of the National Federation of Press Woman and former vice minister of the Assumption Province of National Fraternity of the Secular Franciscan Order (NAFRA), Dr. Schaupp has been married to Robert James Schaupp for more than 60 years and has four children, Margaret, Frederick, John and Elizabeth. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, walking, swimming and watching football.
