Mr. Taylor served as a client services shareholder of HLB Gross Collins, P.C. At the inception of his career, he joined the firm and has remained with the firm for over 45 years. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Series 7 Registered Investment Advisor. He has also served on the executive committee of HLB-USA, Inc., for more than 20 years.
Civically involved, Mr. Taylor is a trustee of the Public Schools Retirement System of Georgia, a member of the board of trustees of Andrew College, and a member of the board of advisors for the University of Georgia Athletic Association. He is a former President of Pinetree Country Club, former director and treasurer of the French American Chamber of Commerce-Atlanta, former director of The University of Georgia Alumni Association and North Cobb Christian School.
Mr. Taylor was inducted into the Coles College of Business Hall of Fame at Kennesaw State University in 2019. He served on the Board of Advisors to the School of Accountancy at KSU from 1992 to 2018 and was chairman of the board from 2015 to 2018. He also served on the strategic planning committee.
Mr. Taylor has been married to his wife Sherrie Lynn Lieber since 1996. Born to Wilburn Bertrom Taylor and Marjorie Joy (Hixon) Taylor, he currently resides in Atlanta. In his spare time, he enjoys travel, dancing, and watching University of Georgia Football, Basketball and Gymnastics.
