Alongside his primary endeavors, Mr. McIntyre has been serving as president of the board of directors of St. Paul’s Bridge Center since 2015. To aid in his desire to expand his mind of legal practices, he maintains affiliation with the law and accounting committee in the business law section of the American Bar Association, the Minnesota Bar Association and the Hennepin City Bar Association. Notable, he was director of the Counsel Association with the Minnesota Corporation for some time.
Drawing upon a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of St. Thomas, Mr. McIntyre received a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Minnesota in 1966 and was soon after admitted to practice law in the state of Minnesota. Inducted into the Order of the Coif upon his graduation from law school, he was mentored by his college professors and Judge Harry Blackmun.
Mr. McIntyre is motivated by the continuous challenges he faces on a daily basis, noting that no two days are alike. He advises future legal professionals to work diligently toward their goals, as well as to respect other individuals’ perspectives and opinions. Married to his wife Mary since 1967, he is the proud father of three children. In his spare time, he enjoys playing bridge.
