Ronald H. Miller, PhD, is the president of an eponymous consultancy, Ronald H. Miller, PhD, LLC, a firm that delivers clients with a vast array of educational and financial assistance services. Serving in a consultancy position for the past seven years, he draws upon nearly 40 years of practiced experience in the educational and financial sectors and is a noted expert in information and referral systems. In his positions throughout his tenure, he was responsible for aiding students in improving standardized test scores during after-school programs, and he formerly created and operated the New York City Regional Center for Life-Long Learning from 1972 to 1976. Impressively, he has authored approximately 40 publications and conducted more than 35 presentations in the field, including a 19-page curriculum. He was subsequently recruited by the National Center for Higher Education Management Systems and was hired by various regional institutes, schools, and universities.
Among the notable highlights of his career, Dr. Miller is most humbled by his success as an accomplished author. The author of a book on financial education for adult learners, titled “Paying for Your Education: A Guide for Adult Learners,” his book sold 110,000 copies and was recognized by Sylvia Porter, the most major consumer reporter in 1980. Utilizing a special P.O. Box, the publishers discovered that 20,000 of the book’s sales could be traced back to her columns.
Widely known as an instrumental figure in advancing the state of the education industry, Dr. Miller holds teacher certification in kindergarten through 12th grade vocal music and teacher certification in ninth through 12th grade social science for the state of Missouri. Furthermore, he is a lauded humanitarian, having been involved in his local community for several decades with participation in the Jewish temple, where he sings in the choir, and within historical center programs and senior centers. Looking toward the future, he intends to expand upon his research. In recognition of his exceptional undertakings, he was featured in the 71st edition of Who’s Who in America in 2018. Notably, he was also named a Worldwide Humanitarian, Industry Leader, Lifetime Achiever, Top Executive and Top Educator by Marquis Who’s Who.
