Wagner, Charolette 4119225_3381806 Newsletter REVISED

A dedicated educator and state legislator, Charolette J. Wagner holds a Bachelor of Science in English from Arkansas State University and a Master of Arts from the University of Kentucky. She is certified in gifted and talented education and as an Arkansas school administrator. From 1986 to 1987, she served as the superintendent of the Etowah School District. From 1987 to 2001, she was the coordinator of federal programs and gifted and talented programs, technology coordinator, and grant writer at  Manila Public Schools. From 2001 to 2003, she served as the superintendent of Manila Public Schools. From 2004 to 2008, she was a sales representative for Harcourt Rigby Steck-Vaughn Book Publishing Company. Finally, from 2007 to 2012, she ventured into politics, serving in the Arkansas House of Representatives.

In addition to her primary appointments in education and government, Ms. Wagner has served her community through organizations such as the Arkansas Northeastern College Foundation Board, the Mississippi County Retired Teachers Association, Manila Business & Professional Women, the Osceola/South Mississippi County Chamber of Commerce, and the Blytheville Gosnell Chamber of Commerce. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and traveling. Looking toward the future, Ms. Wagner plans to continue enjoying life.
