Backed by more than three decades of professional experience in the area of automotive parts, Edmund Coleman Craft rose to prominence as an industry leader prior to his retirement in 2001. He launched his career as an administrative assistant to the chairman of BorgWarner Inc. in Chicago in 1969. Subsequently, Mr. Craft moved to England in 1970, where he remained for five years before returning to the United States as the vice president of the Hydraulics Division in Ohio. In 1979, he was promoted to the role of director of the division. Mr. Craft went on to serve as the vice president of Donaldson Company, Inc. from 1983 to 2000, and then briefly served as a global aftermarket adviser until 2001.

Throughout the course of his illustrious career, Mr. Craft has exercised his passion for his profession through his affiliation with the Filter Manufacturers Council (FMC). For 15 years, he served FMC in various roles, including as vice chairman, chairman and as a member of the board of directors. A true philanthropist, Mr. Craft was division chairman of the United Way of Wayne and Holmes Counties in Ohio, a charity committed to strengthening communities by providing quality education and promoting financial stability. Mr. Craft also served on the board of directors and the executive committee of Junior Achievement of the Upper Midwest, a nonprofit which inspires and prepares K 12 students in Minnesota, North Dakota and western Wisconsin for college and career readiness, and entrepreneurship education.

Mr. Craft received a Bachelor of Science from Lycoming College in 1963 and later completed some postgraduate coursework at Syracuse University. To further expand his education, he enrolled in a graduate executive program at the University of Minnesota in 1984. Since entering his chosen field, one of the biggest achievements of his career was taking over a midsized company and transforming it into multimillion-dollar firm over a 10-year period. For his professional accomplishments, Mr. Craft has been listed in several editions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the Midwest and Who’s Who in the South and Southwest. Moreover, in 2017, he was named a Lifetime Achiever by Marquis Who’s Who.
