Over the course of her illustrious career, Ms. Feuerman has exercised her passion for the arts through a multitude of affiliations, including the Boca Raton Museum of Art, National Women Caucus for Art, International Women’s Forum, international Sculpture Center and American Women’s Economic Development Corporation. In 2009, she served as a member of the Olympia Fine Art Association. Additionally, Ms. Feuerman sat on the Honorary Committee of the Sculptors Guild, as well as the Learning Through Arts Committee of the Guggenheim Museum. Other memberships include the Directory of Distinguished Americans, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, the Women’s Leadership Forum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Americans for the Arts. Furthermore, Ms. Feuerman has maintained affiliation with the Bass Museum of Art, Museum of Modern Art, World Union of Sculpture Parks, National Association of Women Artists, Chashama Foundation and the International Sculpture Center. Notably, Ms. Feuerman formed the Carole A. Feuerman Sculpture Foundation in an effort to “generate excitement, interest and passion for the arts,” as well as to inspire and award worthy artists with exhibition opportunities, internships for college credit and research grants.
Ms. Feuerman has been consistently acknowledged for her talents and contributions to the arts. She was the recipient of the Museum’s Choice Award from Save the Arts in 2013, the Achievement Award from the Second International Biennale of Austria in 2006, the Medici Award Biennale of Contemporary Art from Florence Biennale in 2005, and the Artist’s Showcase Award from Manhattan Arts International in 2002. She was a finalist in the Smithsonian Institution’s Outwin Boochever Portrait Competition in 2012 and was dubbed a Best in Show honoree by the Huan Tai Hu Museum in China in 2016. In recognition of her success, Ms. Feuerman has been listed in Marquis Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the East, Who’s Who in the World and Who’s Who of American Women.
